Meet Your Personal Trainer - Roxie Beckles
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Roxie has over 12 years of experience as a personal trainer. She has had the amazing opportunity to touch the lives of literally hundreds of people, transforming their bodies and helping them to reach heights they've never imagined they could. Roxie has worked in some of New York's top facilities including The New York Sports Club, New York Health and Racquet Club, The Sports Club LA/Upper East Side (NY), and The Sports Club LA (West Los Angeles). She has also worked extensively with the New York Road Runners Foundation as a running coach for their children's programs. She holds a BFA in Dance through Fordham University and Alvin Ailey American Dance Center.
Roxie specializes in creating fun and effective programs specifically tailored to YOUR needs. She also specializes in creating effective weight loss, core strengthening, and flexibility programs. She is certified through The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

I firmly believe in getting the body moving as one unit. We don't spend our lives moving through space on machines, so it is important to learn how to move fighting the forces of gravity. My favorite tools include dumbbells, kettlebells, cables, resistance bands and tubes, medicine balls, stability balls, and even your own bodyweight as resistance. Through this kind of work you will teach your body how to dynamically stabilize your core, improve posture, increase flexibility, and create long, lean, and toned muscles without the bulk. Additionally, this way of training gets you to your goal MUCH faster than the traditional approach to working out. Less time, higher quality is the key to your fitness success.
