This private group Seniors Resistance Bands workout is specifically designed for people between the age of 50 to 99. Especially designed for seniors, overweight people and rehab patients, all of the exercises are orthopedically safe. The pace is slow and relaxed. (Well judge for yourself. Some Savvy Stepping Seniors like it fast and challenging.)
The 30 minute walk/cardio followed by 30 minute workout features weight resistance exercises, using bands and body weight, designed to increase strength, prevent muscle mass loss and bone loss, and also help alleviate the pain of arthritis. All exercises can be done Sitting or Standing. This workout session is intended for people who have never worked out before or who need help getting started again.
After just a few weeks, you'll notice improved strength, flexibility and overall fitness. You'll also have better Balance, Flexibility and Mobility. You might even find you have lots more energy and vitality!
